A first generation American born to an El Salvadorian father and a Dominican mother, Gawvi’s parents taught him at an early age to live by faith and to use that faith to power his dreams. His creative approach is deeply influenced by his Latino roots and love for being experimental as evidenced by his sound which merges many musical genres. Gawvi calls Panorama – his most recent work to date – his most personal, in which he is pulling back the veil and allowing listeners to see his most authentic self, and how he is going through the same things they are.
